Liked this clean and wonderful place, supper friendly stuff and new-fashioned rooms. I was here for 3 nights and ate at club restaurant for dinner. The location in a shopping area was great and there where a shopping area and a market nearby. Took a walk around city centre, located just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

Bed was very comfortable and location good, staff very helpful.
We stayed for 4 nights I would have to say for a 5 star hotel the bathroom and shower wasn't very serviceable as well as being rather dated

The hotel was fantastic, we have gone to other hotels in the city for an overnight stay and paid equal amounts and got very very basic accomodation. This was not like that, the staff were helpful the hotel was beautiful and clean, I would definately go again.

I liked staying in this comfy hotel based in a historic building. There was extremely polite and outstandingly accommodating staff and the service was thoughtful. The breakfast in the lounge area was free with drinks included. Also, location was great, not very far from The Bell Tower. The stay was absolutely wonderful.

We had a lovely view of the Swan River and it was in a good location.
The shower was tiny and there was only 1 bathrobe.

Overall the hotel presented nicely. The best features were the door (entrance) staff who couldn't do enough for patrons. They were helpful, decisive and courteous. The restaurants were also enjoyable and set out well. The views from our window was amazing, especially since we only had a side on view of the river and were instead looking directly into rooms of the hotel across the road, which was a bit daunting as they, as we could, see directly into rooms which meant blinds had to be drawn as dark approached. I suppose the rooms on the higher levels would have had spectacular views across the river. The foyer was okay, patrons coming and going incessantly. The gym was fine, a lot of equipment for those that way inclined. The rooms were comfortable, lovely bedding. In room dining service was excellent.
I think the staff at Reception could be better trained and therefore be able to perform their job more professionally, courteously and quickly. No mistakes are acceptable nor should they be made. Patrons should not hesitate to question errors if these are obvious. Maybe one more chair in each room since there is almost always two people in a room. Also, one telephone is sufficient unto the day.

The parking facilities.not many options.either use the valet service which was 50.00 per use,or use the public carpark which was 30.00 overnight to park our car while we slept..

The staff were excellent, particularly the concierge who was accommodating. The heated outdoor pool was a highlight for my kids. The room, while spacious, showed visible signs of aging, and the dining options could benefit from a greater variety, particularly in terms of Asian cuisine. The absence of a hot chocolate option at breakfast was also noted.
